SCHEDULE

RCS HOCKEY CLUB

RCS Hockey will play in the Colorado Prep Hockey League (CPHL)  CPHL is a USA Hockey venue that offers an opportunity to play for a National bid in the spring.
We are committed to doing everything in our power to further your athlete's development.  

  • On Ice training 2- 3 practices a week

  • 25 plus games

  • Video Review

  • Off-ice strength training

  • Floorball for skill development

 

The 2023 - 2024 Season will field three teams for CPHL Two boys teams and we are excited to announce our first girl's team this year.

 

  • Tier 1 & Tier 2 Boys teams will compete in the McKinnon division of CPHL with Colorado's top teams.

  • The girls' team will be competing in the new all-girls varsity division for CPHL this season from August - February

 

Teams will practice and play games at NOCO Ice Rink with additional practice at Blue Arena (formally Bud Center) throughout the season.

All teams will be participating in local and out-of-state tournaments to be announced after the teams have been formed.

 

Placement Skate will be held at EPIC this year on August 7th & 8th followed by camp for all teams - scheduled to be announced

WOMEN'S TEAM INFORMATION

The League will offer a Full Season Format beginning after Labor Day with anticipated playoffs late February.

  • Teams will play each other twice in the League. League games can be played any time during the season - Currently 8 teams confirmed

  • We will have the option to play all League games in the Fall, Winter or a combination. Plan is to work around travel club schedules

  • Teams can play as many Non-League, Tournaments, and CGHL Non-League games to fill in their schedule. - Currently we have dates for Jamborees and will discuss as a team

  •  League Champion will represent Colorado in the USA Hockey Nationals March 20th-24th Westchester Pennsylvania.

Tryouts and practice will be held at EPIC 1802 Riverside Fort Collins - August 7th - 11th

  • Two tryout skates and two practice slots

  • Normal practice slots will be at NOCO Ice August - Sept - either Tuesday or Thursday 8:45 pm

  • Additional practice dates will be added at Blue Arena - Oct - February - TBD

  • 1 -2 practices a week 

  • Professional coaching staff - team goalie coach provided

  • 25 plus games - will depend on schedules with other clubs - CGHL invites are on the radar

  • Early Bird Tournament August 24 - 28th Sports Stable - fee included

  • Game Jersey (reversible) shells and 2 pairs of games socks - Practice Jersey provided

  • Black helmets and gloves required - Club will provide helmet stickers
